These photos are from hours before and hours after the “caravan” ended. This was the 2021 take on the Puerto Rican Parade. More festivities than last year, but dramatically scaled back from the usual event.

Although the official event is always on one day, the reality is that the celebrations last from about Thursday afternoon through Sunday evening. Anyone who claims it is merely a one day event either: (a) does not live where this happens (b) can’t count (c) is straight up lying. That’s not a statement on the nature of the event — just that there is no way to pretend this lasts for one day and one day only.

Anyway, if you did not attend, you can virtually count the flags.
