There’s a new mural in Frog Hollow.

This art is one of several welcome changes Capitol Avenue has seen since March. Lots of picnic tables have been added on the block between Lawrence and Babcock Streets, along with a giant planter bench, and flowers.

The new paint beneath the Sigourney Street ramp comes after volunteers helped remove litter from the neighborhood this past weekend.

Buried in the City of Hartford’s newsletter is mention of Hartford Fire Department Engine Co. 8 (that would be Frog Hollow’s station) helping with this mural, but nothing else about the work, aside from that it is apparently an anti-litter message.

UPDATE: Names of people responsible for the mural have since been painted around the side of the bridge. As written: air.is, Ramsey, Brit, Duque, Jay, Alex, Opheilia, Amelia, Eva, Evelyn, Yami, Jermaine, Jakhi, and Yessica.
