Take action so you can worry less about the food supply chain breaking. It is not too late to grow your own fresh and nutritious produce. There are at least two local non-profits who can help:

Option One: You have enough space at home

If you have a yard, porch, or windowsill but none of the other components, Keney Park Sustainability Project can provide you with a home garden kit, while supplies last. They can hook you up with seeds, gardening pots, raised beds, soil, and more depending on what you need. Fill out this form to make your request.

Option Two: You have limited space at home

Whether your landlord won’t let you touch the yard, you’ve already taken over every square inch, or your soil is meh, KNOX can provide you with a community garden space for a small fee. If you already have your food needs met but you want to help others, you can grow food to be distributed to those in need.
