I love your photos of the woods. The Skunk Cabbage and bit of water is nice to see. We went down to the riverside again today to see what else is coming up. We love the wild and wooly. The blue violets are starting to flower this week and the shrubs are greening. We only saw 3 people and they never seem to go too far on the trails. I am going to have to call the grounds manager at Goodwin and let him know if they extend the trail towards Goodwin College to please transplant the large patch of wild Iris. We can’t wait to see them in bloom. Today in our wildlife book we entered red cardinals, Blue Jays, wild turkeys (found some beautiful feathers) and fat robins. Everyone should get out in the woods. Just remember wear your tick spray if you plan on hanging out in the bushes.
