Not only that, but the prefab housing that replaces these buildings is the worst sort of dumbed-down McMansion tasteless cr*p, with no sense of architectural presence or respect for the context of rest of the neighborhood. Not to mention that the academic institution behind all this claims to have some sort of commitment to the neighborhood, but how many of he workers on this or other campus projects are from Hartford? How many ways can you say “zero”…..

The feed from the “Crescent Street Construction Camera” seems to have been cut. At least the “refresh” button does not work, and you only get one image, of a not-yet-demolished building.
