Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts, Clinton Street Entrance just by the door. 🙂 I remember when they first build the addition, the entire sculpture was placed in the empty space it occupies with the hopes of having vines engulf it. Glad to see it’s working.
Can’t remember 🙁 My first inclination would be that it’s a Muse; One of the daughters of Zeus – Goddesses of the Arts (music, writing, painting, sculpture, etc.) Let me know once you find out. Of note that it”s around the corner from the Spanish American War memorial at Bushnell Park which uses the greek goddess Nike as the main figure.

Not idea where this is, but is it Athena?

Not sure…but I think it’s labeled. I’ll have to go look, maybe later today.

But Athena is an excellent guess cuz she’s the G o’ Wisdom and that figure has the owl symbol.

I was right in the park an hour or so ago and completely forgot to walk over there. D’oh!

Yeah, my first thought was that she’s Minerva.
