Flying roosters and a leaping frog are just part of the new exhibit at 1283 Broad Street. Most of the art in the Boricua en la Luna show involves motion and some is interactive. The piece portrayed here is part of Victor Pacheco’s “Symptoms Series.”
Victor Pacheco‘s art will be on display in the Broad Street Gallery through October 24th.
Update: Gallery hours will be Tuesday-Thursday, 11am-2pm beginning in early October, and, by appointment.

When is this gallery opened and what is the hours of this show?

This show opened on Saturday. I’m not sure of the hours. They have no website that I can find and the Facebook invite said that gallery hours would be posted later.

Thanks I will try to find out by walking over there one of these days. I think I will really like the sculpture in the photo in real life. I hope this isn’t another one of those Hartford galleries that is open for an opening and then hard to get in to see the work at another time.

I want to return so that I can see the art when the space is less crammed with people. It was great to see so many people come out for this, but it does make the viewing experience more difficult.
