Students from Trinity College joined Friends of Zion Hill Cemetery on Saturday to clean up the graveyard’s grounds and perimeter.
Blueberry bushes were planted.
An area was created for a new herb garden that people in the neighborhood will be welcome to help themselves to.
In recent years, Friends of Zion Hill Cemetery have restored the Caretaker’s Cottage, created vegetable and flower gardens, planted daffodils, added apple and other trees, organized regular clean up days, and held several educational and social events.
