You love the Elizabeth Park Rose Garden. I love the rose garden. We all love it.

But for the next month, we will be inundated with photos from this one location, as if roses grow nowhere else in the area. As if roses are the only flower in town.

You’ll find roses in people’s yards all over Hartford, and along the Connecticut River, as pictured above and below.

…in Riverside Park and at other points along the Connecticut River.

There are a few rooftop gardens. The vibrant flowers below grow above a parking garage in downtown.
