Sustainable CT’s Community Match Fund helps raise funds quickly for projects that have a benefit for the natural environment and won’t take decades to launch. They match each dollar donated.

Like to eat? We need pollinators to make that possible. Money is being raised to create a pollinator meadow in Keney Park. This is intended for an area of the park that is currently a low-mow meadow. Bee hives will be installed nearby.

The entrance garden at Colt Park is being redone, and they are looking to add benches and a pavilion.

If you’ve been through Bushnell Park lately, you’ve noticed a few stumps. Bushnell Park is aiming to plant forty new trees this year.

At Charter Oak Landing, there are hopes of reclaiming daylily beds from the invasives that have taken over — though the groundhogs don’t seem to mind what’s growing in the park.
