For those who just can’t get enough of the jazz in July, there will be an art exhibition inspired by the Hartford Jazz Society. The artist’s reception for Ascension will be on July 21st from 5-7:30 pm at the Conrad L. Mallett Art Gallery, located at 950 Main Street.
Artists featured in this mixed media/photography exhibition include Joseph Chandler, Andres Chaparro, Jr., Byron Dean, Barbara Hudson, Maurice Robertson, and Ron Thompson.
Work will be on display from July 21st through August 6, 2011. The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 8 am to 6 pm. On Saturdays, it is open from 10am to 2 pm.
