North End Farmers’ Market Opens for 2011 Season

This market — located in front of the North End Senior Center at 80 Coventry Street — will open for the season on June 29th.

It will continue to operate every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. until October 26, 2011.

This market was started in 2008 with the help of several organizations including Hartford Food System, the City of Hartford Department of Health and Human Services, United Connecticut Action for Neighborhoods, and the Rambuh Family Center.

There are also farmers’ markets at Billings Forge; corner of Farmington and South Whitney; 156 Capitol Avenue; corner of Park and Washington; and at the Old State House.
