On September 15th there will be a public meeting in the City Council Chambers regarding the recent relocation of buses and over one hundred drivers from Hartford to East Hartford. The Labor and Workforce Development Committee will be investigating Autumn and Specialty Transportation to
uncover any:
- Violation of the city’s living wage ordinance;
- Evasion of paying business property taxes; or
- Failure to comply with safety standards for students.
The meeting will run from 5:30-6:30 in the evening on Wednesday.
