I’m a relatively new reader of police blotters, so maybe that’s why I am noticing how silly some of the charges can sound.
Carry Dang Weapon sounds like an order thrown out when two siblings are heading out to rob a bank. I imagine it going something like this:
Younger Brother: Why do I have to hold the gun?
Older Brother: Because I always have to. It’s your turn. Just carry the dang weapon.
Operating Under Suspension sounds like it could be taken any number of ways. It could be a suspended doctor doing heart surgery, or it could be someone operating machinery under a suspension bridge.
Poss Drug Paraphernalia is kind of wishy-washy. It might have been a bong, it might have been a flower vase. We just don’t know. Let’s call it possible drug paraphernalia.
Opratng under the influence sounds like the person creating the arrest log was typing under the influence.
Failure to Appear. Ahh, the daily trials faced by the Invisible Man.
