The mural by one highway ramp has been completed, and another is on the way.

Thanks to artists Andre Rochester and Corey Pane, there will be something other than a giant lawyer ad to greet people on Asylum Street by Union Station.

The anticipated unveiling for this work on the railroad bridge is October 22, 2021. Words from Poetry on the Streets will be incorporated into the mural, as will replicas of artwork created by youth.

It’s great the we are putting the days of “let’s keep everything gray and beige” behind us. What other walls do you think could use a burst of color?
