Saturday night, you could have been at the Trinity International Hip Hop Festival. You could have been listening to stories at Real Art Ways or going from house-to-house in the West End for a friend’s progressive birthday dinner party.

Or, you could have been at the Dirt Salon for “Planet Dirt,” a sci-fi/steampunk-themed art party.

The Dirt Salon, located at 50 Bartholomew Avenue, is just steps from the new CTfastrakĀ station in Parkville. The building doubles as studio and gallery space. On the walls right now is Laura Victore‘s “Taking Flight” exhibit.

At the “Planet Dirt” party, Grymm Studios set out its creations. Christian Cajar and Whitney Bobby set the mood with music. Members of the Beat City Beauties performed later in the evening.
