There are several upcoming public meetings for those who want to give input on housing and community development needs.

The Consolidated Plan for 2015-2019 is intended to help the City of Hartford “make data-driven, place-based investment decisions that align and focus funding from the  following U.S. Housing and Urban Development programs.”  These programs include Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships, Emergency Solutions Grant, and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA).

The first public hearing will be held in the Parker Anderson Recreation Center, 2621 Main Street, on January 20 at 1 p.m.

A second will take place in the function room on the second floor of City Hall, 550 Main Street. This begins at 6:30 p.m. on January 21. Additional meetings will be scheduled for March and April.
