Activists intended to be arrested, sitting in a roadway on Washington Street as a form of civil disobedience. After being given multiple orders to clear the roadway, arrests for disorderly conduct were made. The majority of those arrested were from Rhode Island; three gave addresses in Hartford, one New Britain, one Wethersfield, and one Bloomfield.
