Eight Sixty Custom Opens on Park Street

By , November 9, 2013 6:43 pm

The groundbreaking ceremony for Hartford’s first skatepark was last Monday.

Today, Hartford’s only skate shop held its grand opening.

Eight Sixty Custom has opened its doors at 1850 Park Street. Though set back from the street, it’s hard to miss with a micro half pipe being built in the parking lot.

Part store, part den, the space contains a seating area for viewing skateboarding videos and people had already made themselves comfortable.

Eight Sixty Custom sells clothes, sneakers, hats, boards, paint, and accessories. Not all of their stock is in yet, but the store is far from empty.
