Hartford Prints! is open!
In business since 2009, the local print shop has moved into a Pratt Street storefront. The Gale sisters — Addy, Callie, and Rory — had been operating out of a space on Arbor Street in the Parkville neighborhood, but the iConnect initiative has enabled them and three other businesses to move into long vacant spaces in Downtown. Though businesses were expected to open in these spots last May, negotiations between the City and landlords dragged.
A walk through the Hartford Prints! space makes the wait seem worthwhile.
The store carries greeting cards, t-shirts, jewelry, onesies, prints, and more. Hartford Prints! will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 11am until 7pm.
The “Grandest Opening Celebration” is tonight from 6-10 at the store: 42 1/2 Pratt Street. Expect food, drink, and dance.

Well, Rory asked me to wait and I don’t want to be banned from the store! But I was itching for people to see this.
