This week’s edition is the result of an especially early morning walk around a sliver of the Blue Hills neighborhood.

How early? Of the six vehicles that we walked by, five fell into the public safety/police category and one was a maintenance truck.

Aside from those driving, no other humans were spotted — just ducks and a rabbit.

TheĀ In Your Neighborhood photo series focuses on a different section of Hartford each week. The purpose is not to make anything look better or worse than it is; simply, it is to show things as they are, not necessarily how we wish them to be. Photos are taken while walking or cycling, never by pointing the camera out of a moving vehicle.
