It’s up by the New Arrowhead Bar isn’t it?
You will need to be more specific.
That seemed pretty specific to me. It’s on Main between Pleasant & Ann.
You weren’t specific. “Up by the New Arrowhead” Cafe can go for blocks if you are near the Wethersfield line and just giving a general direction.
Yes, it’s on that block. It is in the Winthrop building.
When I mean up by the New Arrowhead Cafe, I meant that block. I don’t think of the New Arrowhead Cafe as such a landmark that it defines the region for miles in every direction.
I tell people I live near Pope Park, even though that’s not the closest thing. Or Park Street, if I’m aiming for a reaction. Bankside Grove is closer, but five people know what that is.
I know Bankside Grove that is where the city buried trees right up their trunks and killed them. Silly fools.
There’s going to be a new Arrowhead Cafe?
The sign out front says “New Arrowhead Cafe.” If they reopen, I guess it’ll be the Newer Arrowhead Cafe or the NEW New Arrowhead Cafe.
I wonder what the Classic Arrowhead Cafe was like.
The designs are derived from stone carvings done by the Taino Indians. The Taions are the pre-columbian inhabitants of Puerto Rico and other Caribbean islands. Glyphs like this can be found on stone slabs and carved into cave walls throughout PR and the DR. So perhaps the photo is from a Puerto Rican or Caribbean organization? (I know I don’t get the prize, but jus sayin…)
You get the prize for Knowing the Most Other Stuff
I will gladly accept the KtMOS prize but did no one get the “reak” prize? I want to know the answer without going there to find out for myself.
Brendan got it — on Main, block between Pleasant and Ann.
