At the last City Council meeting Minority Leader Larry Deutsch introduced a resolution for the City of Hartford to request state legislation to ban all assault weapons, tighten registration policies on all weapons, and also ban fracking. This was referred to the Council’s Operations, Management, Budget & Legislative Affairs Committee, which has its next meeting on January 22nd at 5pm in Council Chambers.
The City Council’s monthly public hearing will follow at 7, also in Council Chambers, giving people more time to comment on the fueling station proposed for the property at New Park Avenue and Francis Court in Parkville.
