January is National Mentoring Month, which makes it a suitable time for the Connecticut Mentoring Partnership along with the Hartford Department of Families, Children, Youth & Recreation; the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services; and the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch, Court Support Services Division to launch the Hartford Juvenile Mentoring Collaborative.

The January 31st networking meeting will provide an opportunity for participants to shape this new initiative, network with service providers, and hear about mentoring research.

This will be held in the Metzner Recreation Center at 680 Franklin Avenue from 9-11 a.m. Refreshments will be provided.

It is free to attend, but registration by January 18th is required. Contact Cacina Reynolds-Mgbejume, the Senior Program Coordinator of the Connecticut Mentoring Partnership.
