Place this Place: Five for Real
To be in the running for fabulous prizes, you’ll need to be especially competitive this week. As a bonus, the rules will be contradictory, opaque, and bizarre– much like local government.
Here’s how it works.
If you are the first to guess any of these three pictures correctly, you get the standard 24-hours of smugness. If you win two or more, you will be entitled to a small package of tangible goodies that have little-or-no monetary value.
To enter, leave your best guess along with the number of the image you are guessing. If your answer is ambiguous, it can not be counted.
The most correct answers before 12:01am on Tuesday wins!
Winners will be announced here on Tuesday morning and prize winner(s) will be contacted by email to arrange for pickup or delivery.
All of these photos are from locations in Hartford:

#1: The first image for this week's mystery place takes you for a rare trip indoors. Where in Hartford might you find this?

#2: This is kind of a freebie. Guess anyway.

#3: You don't need to name the structures, just the street
#2 Riverfront Plaza, #3…Lewis Street?
Yes on #2
No on #3
You can keep guessing.
1- 960 (950?) Main
2- riverfront
3- Pratt street
#2 – yes
#3 – yes
The first one is neither of those addresses.
The lob?
Not the Legislative Office Building.
Congrats to Brendan, the big winner for this!
Photo #1 is the huge light fixture at the Marriott by the river. When you cut through there to grab a coffee from Starbucks, look up!
I went in there once, but I didn’t look up. Believe it or not it was for something involving the Connecticut Young Democrats.
It really does look like the mothership. And it makes me feel like I am being watched.
The floor in the lobby is equally impressive.
as you can probably imagine, I don’t stay in many Hartford hotels.
Neither do I, but I’ve had meetings in the lobby.
