Because of a road race, the following streets will be closed on Saturday (11 Feb 2012) from 7 until noon:
Trinity Street
Elm Street — Pulaski Circle to Trinity Street
Jewell Street — along the park
Ford Street
Asylum Avenue — North side, from Garden Street to Cogswell Street
Huntington Street — from Asylum Avenue to Collins Street
Collins Street — from Huntington Street to Garden Street
Garden Street — from Collins Street to Asylum Avenue
A message from the City of Hartford indicates that these areas will be marked with “no parking” signs.

I am so tired of these road races. Can’t they find somewhere else to run around? It really messes up the buses for city folks who need to get where they are going. Detours can really wreck havoc on our routines.
