Anticipating snow, the City of Hartford has declared a ban on all on-street parking between 9a.m. on Saturday through 6a.m. on Sunday, this weekend. Parking is available in public school lots during the ban.

Vehicles left on the street may receive a fine of $99 or be towed for a fee of $108.

“When people refuse to adhere to an instituted ban, the impact on the City from a financial perspective, not to
mention the safety hazards posed because public works crews cannot effectively remove snow is significant,” said Mayor Pedro E. Segarra. “We will strictly enforce this ban, so I ask that all vehicle owners move their property from City streets.”
