In the recent campaign for State Representative, word got out that Hector Robles — the current rep for the sixth district and an officer with the Hartford Police Department — was facing some serious accusations. It’s finally been revealed what he has been investigated for — double-billing and more.

  1. I read that he’s now resigned. Any idea what happens to the seat he just won in the election? Does that now need to be revoted? Costing us more tax payer money…

    if he resigns…he hasnt yet…the statutes say that the delegates of the prior convention must meet and endorse a new candidate, who becomes the standard bearer for the November election…

    If he resigns after winning the November election then there is a mandatory statutory special election.
