This is the first house in the Casa Linda series. I chose it because of how eye-catching it is — yellow and purple — and how modest it is for the neighborhood it’s in. There are a few homes in the West End that seem more for show than they do for actual living in. Luckily, this house looks well-loved. The front yard even has a toadstool sculpture. This one receives bonus points for not having the standard, boring manicured grass lawn.
