First Snowstorm: Part II

I’ve been hearing all day about people being snowed in. Not I! I walked over to Tisane where the place was busy, the special of the day was an awesome veggie sandwich, and non-drunk karaoke was happening. There were a number of places on Farmington Avenue open, despite the road conditions. These photos were taken tonight while wandering the streets admiring houses dressed up for the holidays.

I always loved Hartford when it snowed.. The quiet.. the crunching of the snow under my boots.. Always reminded me of being in a snow globe..
    Namaste..

Technicalities, Sujal. We were not snowed in to our respective buildings. We also did not partake in the karaoke, even if the waiter was trying to get me to do so.

Back in the day, I used to walk to the Half Door on snow days and enjoy their lovely sandwiches and soup in a breadbowl.

And a liberal helping of Jack Daniels, of course.
